Accredited Employer Work Visa – Build Your Career in New Zealand
New Zealand’s Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) gives skilled workers who have a full-time job offer from an accredited employer the chance to live and work in New Zealand for up to five years. It’s designed to help fill gaps in the labor market and offer stability to migrants with in-demand skills.
Depending on the role and skill level (ANZSCO levels), applicants are required to meet experience, qualification, and English language criteria. Some roles allow stays of up to five years, while others have shorter duration depending on skill level and employer accreditation status.
AEWV is also structured to offer potential pathways toward residence. With time, stable employment, and meeting other immigration criteria, visa holders may become eligible for certain resident visa categories. It’s ideal for people aiming for long-term life in New Zealand.
