New Zealand Visitor Visa – Short-Term Travel Made Easy
The New Zealand Visitor Visa allows international travellers to stay for short periods—up to 6 months (or 9 months depending on your situation). You can use it for holidays, visiting family and friends, or attending business meetings or conferences.
This visa does not permit work for a New Zealand employer. However, visitors may study for up to 3 months during their stay, and multiple-entry visas are possible depending on the assessor’s decision.
You must show proof that you will leave New Zealand at the end of your stay, have sufficient funds for your trip, and meet health and character requirements. Some travellers also need an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) or visa waiver, depending on their country of origin. I
