Canada SINP – Saskatchewan Pathway to Permanent Residency
Saskatchewan’s Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) offers several pathways for skilled workers, graduates, and individuals with relevant experience to secure provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residency. SINP includes streams such as the International Skilled Worker: Occupations In-Demand, International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer, Saskatchewan Experience, and others. Many SINP streams allow applicants without a job offer (if their occupation is listed as in-demand) while others require an employer sponsor.
Applicants submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) under SINP to be considered. Selection is based on a points-grid considering education, work experience, language ability, connections to Saskatchewan, and intent to settle in the province. Being nominated by Saskatchewan means you can then apply to IRCC (federal level) for your permanent resident visa. Depending on the stream, the process may be faster and more favourable for those who meet provincial priorities.
Requirements
- Meet minimum criteria on the SINP points assessment grid (typically ~60 out of 110).
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French (often CLB 4 or higher).
- Possess education credentials recognized or assessed by acceptable Canadian evaluation bodies.
- Provide either a valid job offer from a Saskatchewan employer or, if applying under Occupations-In-Demand stream, have relevant in-demand occupation experience.
Benefits
- Earn provincial nomination to boost Express Entry score.
- Some streams don’t require a job offer if occupation is “in demand.”

- Access to live, work, and settle in Saskatchewan with full PR.
- Include spouse and dependents in SINP application.
- Opportunity to apply from inside or outside Canada, depending on stream.
- Recognized credentials and language skills help improve chances.
- Benefit from Saskatchewan’s lower cost of living and strong communities.
